I have just been following along, is there space for the bottom roller wobble with the arm to the door in between? Mine seems very loose despite tightening the bolt up. Thanks!

Thanks very informative,although I am in between replacing indicator/light instruments arm I'm fuming as I've been told steering wheel needs to come off to do works,well airbag removal is a nightmare and steering wheel with help of wd40 is pretty easy,yet really annoyed I didnt come across this video first.

Well done fella, just did mine and added a little contact grease to the copper nipples. Get someone to hold your phone next time as I felt sea sick. 🙂

2 little pins is need to stay with a little new grease :) otherwise it will scratch the connection plates

I have a 2014 Vivaro Sportif and the wipers just developed this fault .. The wipers only work on the fastest setting, and they don't park themselves when I'm done. Its kinda hilarious on full thrash, and having to judge when to stop them at the bottom of the windscreen lol Do you think your clean up fix will work in my case?

Thanks for the video, saved me a few pennies, Took apart as per video, although on mine I had a 5th smaller clip, it's located on the face shown at 3:31 at the bottom, you can see the small square hole. I cleaned up the contacts with some kitchen towel and then sprayed the contacts with electrical contact cleaner, I stretched the small springs that are covered by the small copper caps a little bit, then put it all back together and boom I have intermittent wipers back up and running. All I have to do now is sort out the limp mode problem.

How did you pinch the bolt on the lower runner? Cause when I try to do the 13mm bolt up to pinch in the bottom half the bolt tightens up and the lower end does not pull. Causing the roller to lock up instead of being free?? Any ideas please ?

The Live/Neutral wires look the wrong way round? Did you have instructions saying Brown/Live on the left or just guess? Would usually be on the right into a transformer.

How do you get a feed from a switch to the transformer? Is it best to drill a hole above the light switch then try and thread the cable down ? I have a two switch socket and could share one switch to my outside light . I presume this is easier than trying to change a 2 switch for a 3 switch?;

Can I ask. Why did you use speaker wire to the back of the doorbell. Could you not have just used the original bell push cable that was present with your original bell?

Did you fit a 25ohm 50watt transistor as Ring eludes to on the website. Where there is no doorbell unit, I believe they are supposed to be fitted between the transformer and Ring?
